Step 1: Confirm Power Is Actually Reaching the Converter

The converter can only charge if it is being fed. Start at the pedestal and work inward, since a surprising share of no charge complaints never make it past this step.

Confirm the campground outlet or house outlet is live, ideally with a surge protector display or a known good appliance. Then find the 120V breaker labeled converter or power center in your distribution panel and flip it fully off and back on at the handle, because a tripped breaker often does not look tripped. A battery that will no longer accept charge looks exactly like a converter that will no longer supply it. Both leave you with a flat bank on shore power, and swapping the wrong part is an expensive way to learn that.

Two tells separate them. If voltage at the battery jumps up the moment you plug in but sags right back down within minutes with no real load, the converter is supplying and the battery is not holding, which points at a battery near the end of its life.
